Wow! Great! Any chance you can ask your friend about his timeline ... like when his case turned to in-process and etc.?

As he said, his case turned to in process 25th of Sep and got ppr last week.

i contacted them too and nothing...their phone line just hangs up on you...and well for email its pretty much the same...hamid tried contacting them through his mp..but then he didnt get a response either...so unless its something urgent...ur just gonna get no where...

It is a bother to have to wait so long but there is no choice for us at this time. :-X

I dont realy know wtf is wrong over there ! There isnt any rule that show us how long after in process we will get our ppr. Some one got after 1 week and some other after 4 month still wait !

Hi , I was talking to an Immigration lawyer today , what he said was that , the reasons some cases take longer is, first, VO's that take over our case, some are faster and more experienced and some arent , also he said if my wife had made many travels outside Iran , it also slow down the security check , the other thing is usually processing time for men is usually longer than women , and also because of the situation in Iran , they are more sensetive towards these cases coming from that country, he also said in the near future , these cases are gonna be more and more dificult to get approved , as the Immigration office will be monitoring these cases with going into more details ,

I don't think none of these are true.Raha confessed that she traveled to many countries and she got her visa way sooner than us.Her background check didn't last long.she got her ppr only 3 month after getting in process.The other thing that you say male get longer than female in this forum we have many females that sponsored their husband and they got ppr in only 6 months.we have many here.We just can say there is no rule and it's just luck...

I'm agree with you dude, as i said i was in london for 5 years and got police certificate from UK, I dont think that would be a proplem for me or people like me to postpone our ppr process. There is just one evidence to force them make the process slower that is the cases are not strong enough to Convince them, so the officers need to take more time to review all documents.

You are right , there is no right or wrong ,every case is different with another , the nature of human being is to stay hopeful , for the most anyway , these were just comments were made by that lawyer , right or wrong , god knows,but again I am sure if a case falls under someone who just started his/her job ,if will take longer or there will be a chance of mistakes happening at a larger scale by them, if there was a staraight line regarding these cases, we werent here posting these notes,

yeah , the good thing is you had lived in london for 5 yrs, so there will be one clearance from England only , now imagine you had traveled to 5 countries in 5 yrs , so there were 5 clearance required and some countries are slower or faster than others, oh well , noone knows how they do it , I just hope this time goes by fast, cheers

I have been in dubai and malaysia as well but i spent less than 5 month, Furtunately as they said befor 5 month no need to have police certificat.
