Thanks so much for sharing this - I will also call tomorrow and see if I can get any more information out of them. I wouldn't stress too much about the answer she gave you - I have to imagine there's some limit to what they can tell you over the phone. But it's totally frustrating that they were so vague!I'm glad I found this group and saw few people in the same boat as me. I remember i filed my application to MIFI end of August (cannot remember the exact date) and then I received a letter "Accusé de reception August 30th" and since no news so today I decided to call them. A lady told me over the phone that they mailed me something on November 6th. I told her I did not get anything so far. She said probably because of the strike. I asked if my application was successful or rejected. She said I will know when I receive the letter by mail. That was a weird answer. Aren't they allowed to tell us the outcome over the phone? so I'm getting nervous now. Guys it is ok to call them to follow up. Please if anyone called or will do it, write us here what the agent said.
I have noticed the same thing! The last time i checked the update was the 11th november and they where looking the applications they received August 26th .. now the update from today show they are stuck at the same date 2 week later !!!!!I've also noticed that the webpage that says what date of applications they're on has been stuck on August 26th since the start of November. I think it's totally possible there's a general delay, but I'll see if I can get any more info over the phone tomorrow!
Ok, I did the same this morning. They confirmed that they mailed me a document on November 8th and that I wouldn't get it until the strike was over, and that the decision was also transmitted to the IRCC. She said our "demande d'engagement a été acceptée" so it sounds like it was approved, as "demande acceptée" is the language used on the MIFI when a CSQ application is successful. So it might be worth calling again and seeing if a different agent will give you more specific information!I'm glad I found this group and saw few people in the same boat as me. YAY I'm so glad you were also able to get the peace of mind that it was approved! It's such a relief. To begin congarts I just called them like right now and I spoke to a different person and right away she said that It was approved and also they transmitted it to IRCC. I feel so relieved now! Now we have to wait for the strike to be over and receive our docs by mail and submit the approval ourselves to IRCC.
Is it normal if i still haven’t got csq invitation letter its been almost 3 months since my aor and most applicants get the request few days after aor
