Thanks for all the replies.

It looks that the chances are bleak and the app needs a lot of luck to make it.

One more thought. it has been stated in the CIC application guide that the PCC need not be sent initially when the applucation is sent. And that it cab be sent at a later point in time. What if I send another package with the pcc and the new credit card details and clearly state on the package as nishesh pointed out, that the package contains additional documents (pcc documents) of so and so applicant. Do you think that in such a case, CIC will take the burden of marrying the new documents with the original application?

Regards...

Sending PCC is a little differrent because by the time you send PCC you normally have a UCI# which you do not at the moment.

Therefore the probability remains the same as of now, PCC or no PCC.

No. CIC does not ask for it and will not use that even if its the same Credit Card that has been input in the fee payment form. Just fill the form carefully and you should be fine.

You have 2 options only-

1 - Demand Draft
2 - Credit Card

There is no online mode of payment available.

Hi Zaman

You have to fill up the fee payment form with the relevant details. I suggest you first go through the CIC website's FSW segment explaining the payment procedure in detail as it looks like you have not.

Hello Seniors,

I sent my application under FSW 2014 (2172) on 14th October(received).

I just got to know that my Bank has replaced my old credit card(as per some RBI guidelines) and the new card has been sent to my address. The card info in the new card is different from that in the old card. Old card will be active only till Dec 31'st 2014.

I am seriously depressed about it as i am sure the CC wont get charged within that. Is there anything that you can suggest to overcome this?

1. I heard that we can send the fee payment form with a cover letter. WIll that work?
2. Is it better to resend the application? If so, is there any means i can make it in the CAP 2172?

I am trying my best to contact the bank and get the validity increased but I dont think citibank is gonna listen to me as they used to.

Please help me.

1 - As it stands, this looks like the best option you have. December may be a close call for October 14th application. Hence its better to resend a revised fee payment form along with a cover letter.

Make sure you include the following details (and any other details that makes your application easier to identify):

- UCI# (if any)
- Date and time of receipt of the original app with the receiver's name and the courier tracking #
- Name and DOB as per PP and Birth Certificate respectively
- NOC Code
- Country of Birth

2 - As far as the NOC CAP is concerned : you are absolutely safe. However, if CIC decides to discontinue FSW starting Jan 2015 then it won't matter to you, hence I would recommend you act NOW.

My consultAnt's credit card was declined in july and the application was sent back on 01 August. How long it takes using regular from nova scotia to reach Toronto? The consultant did not i form me about the return till now i got the email from cic.

What is your NOC ?

This is very careless on part of your Consultant, one reason why I never recommend one.

Is your consultant based in Canada ? Why was the Credit Card declined ?

He is based in Toronto. I have no idea as my papers are with him. I wrote straight to the cic and got the answer from them that it was returned 3 months before because the credit card was declined. I have to wait till monday to get a response from the consultant. What he makes up for the lie.
