Hello friends,

with my experience, my credit card was declined and I got letter form CIC to inform me and gave me death line date to submit the free by another card or bank draft. so than I submitted the bank draft.
They not sending back you document relax! but they should send the letter if the payment not received. :)
Please do not spread wrong information. Are you saying that this is the process followed in FSWP2014?

Hello SonOfOdin:

Can I ask a question : I sent the payment form online and by mail. for online I sent it to these address ImmigrationRepresentatives@cic.gc.ca

and CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry@cic.gc.ca . What do you think. Is it good. What is the completeness check. when it is over. your payment can not be modified.

Thank you,

Regards,

Hi booba22,

As you can see my timeline on the left panel under my profile name, i have been pretty successful with my application so far :)

Be assured that the process of pushing the application date to the latter date when an addendum document was received is not followed in the current fswp bcos my ecas status shows my application receive date as 5th june itself and not august date.

Be aware that it is not garanteed that ur addendum document will be added to ur parent application. But u can always try ur luck. I see that u may be a little late for sending a new payment instrument as ur application may have finished completeness check and moved on to cost recovery section by now. It has been observed that cic requires quite some time for the additio process. But u have nothing to loose in trying ur luck.

I would suggest for u to try using ur old card to shop online for something in canada. See if that works. This will provide u with a good measure if cic will be able to use old payment measure.

Regards...

Hi Buddy,
My CC was declined twice on 24th due to restriction on International Limit usage, then holidays came till 28th. I called my bank and put them with a standing instructions that a payment for around Rs 70k will come and dont reject that. Also i asked them to increase my International limit. I called my friend on 28th and he said that CIC generally tries one more time, so I didnot loose hope at that time. Today my CC was charged again successfully.
Good luck the card may be charged again, just inform your bank that their will be a amount charged.
I believe that such international payment do not need any OTV password, they charge directly.
Enjoy

SMS notification is the quickest means of getting to know that a payment was declined on your credit card. Email is the other way.

This totally depends on your banking preferences and has nothing to do with CIC.

Correct - CIC is exempted from OTP/VBV or any other secondary authentication set on your Card.
