Credential Assessment (Got Immigration)

I applied for Federal Skilled Worker Immigration in 2009 (from Pakistan) & got it in 2013. Credential assessment was not necessary at that time. Though I can land with out credential assessment but I want to do it before landing because it will be extremely difficult to get it later on. What I know is that WES is the fastest credential assessment service. I need some clarifications about it and help from those who have gone through it. I will be highly obliged if some one can answer following questions.

I have done masters in Chemistry and need assessment for only last degree (M.Sc). Should I send HEC attested copies of degree and transcripts for masters only or I have to send all attested documents (copies) from high school on wards ??

Thanks for your information. Actually as per this link if you have University degree there is no need to submit secondary school certificates. But one my friend in Canada told me that we have to send all documents including intermediate & secondary education. Have you done your credential assessment or any one else who has done it please elaborate.

As per my experience, you need to have credential assessment for your Highest level Degree. the subsidiary degrees are counted as per Top levels ............

I am in the process of doing my credentials with WES, see many organizations are there who provides credentials evaluation services some organizations ask for photocopies of all the documents secondary onwards, some ask photocopies including originals (for verificaion), and WES ask for the Graduation onwards (no secondary and intermediate required if you have graduation degree).

No need to send secondary or intermediate degrees, they only need university level degrees & Transcripts whom photocopies should be attested by HEC and sealed by them then you can courier those documents to WES

i need some help, we got pr last month, we r going to land in ontario next month. my husband is the primary applicants, i have done bpt from Allahabad agricultural deemed university, nd mpt from nims nd now i want to work as physiotherapist in ontario. please tell me what to do. b'coz i don't know anything. Does we need to register for IAP (Indian association of physiotherapists) in india. Is WES is good for Credential assessment. please guide me all the steps necessary to get licence to work in ontario.

As you might be knowing, there are a bunch of Organizations that can do your ECA thing. However, for medical professional/students ECA is mandatorily done by Medical Council of Canada. Please visit http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp for more info.

Do I need to assess my bachelor degree (5 years) too? or only the master?

i am facing the same problem. my husband is main applicant. i am librarian and my husband is B pharmacist AND MBA
My question is how can i and my husband get carrednetial assesment. do my husband have to get assesment for both B pharm and MBA DEGREES and whats the procedure and cost?

Assalam o Allaikum and Hello Friends,


I am from Pakistan and Working in Government Organization. I am planning to apply in FSW Visa. In this regard I have hired one of the expert and well known lawyer from Montreal to represent my case. I have paid my initial installment i.e. CAD 900.

Initially they have asked me to give my educational history so that they can start preliminary assessment for my credentials from WES. Today I have received email from my lawyer that WES has not found equivalency for any other reason they want to do it complete assessment which require I think money from my side.

My lawyer put two option for me. Option 1. I can carry contract with them and start full assessment.

Option 2. I can terminate contract at this point and they can send me back my money in access of 250CAD.

I have done B.Com from Sindh. I did MBA (Finance) from Islamabad Bahria university. Please guide me what should I do with it. Is it okey with my degree are my degrees are equivalent with Canadian standards?

Please guide me. Take out your precious time and give me proper answer and advise. I would be glad to hear from you.
Another question is that I am a government servant so is there any hurdle in my application for this reason?
