CPP-Ottawa

we received my husband CSQ last week!!! Now the letter says that the info has been transmistted to the visa office but they inclosed a copy of the CSQ for immigration offices if nedded cause some offices require the CSQ to be sent in by the applicants. Do I need to send it to CPP-Ottawa? I would think that they received it through Qc offices but I really want to make sure they start working on our next step as soon as possible!

My letter said the same, but CPP later requested it (scanned copy). I would advice you to email a copy and keep the original just in case.

No, I sent a copy of the passport with my application too. They will still ask you to send it again.

It probably depends on who you have processing your application. I sent in copies of my passport with the application and then completely skipped the PPR and went straight to Decision Made.

It's been over a month (well over) since I resent missing/incomplete documents to Missasauga (sp?) and I have not heard anything and I'm waiting on sponsor approval still. I emailed them with all the info I have (names, birthday's and my UCI) and they can't find my file!!! We just moved so I can't find my postal receipt to check the tracking to see if the forms even got there. I'm so nervous and upset. I really don't want to send the forms again but I'm not sure what to do at this point. If I had a file number that would help but as far as I know, I haven't been issued one. Help!!

But also freaking out because E-Cas hasn't been updated to show my new name (on my new passport).... I hope they issue the COPR in my married name otherwise I don't know what I'm going to do.....

But also freaking out because E-Cas hasn't been updated to show my new name (on my new passport).... I hope they issue the COPR in my married name otherwise I don't know what I'm going to do.....

Thanks all!! Does anyone know what would happen if my COPR were to be issued according to my old passport (maiden name)? Would they be able to amend it at the border if I showed my old (invalid) passport and my new one? I hope so....?

I am not sure.. Maybe post a new topic about it to get the attention of some other forum members? I would say bring both your old passport and new one when you cross over with your COPR.
