I just filed my app in the beginning of December. Fingers crossed that my timeline is similar to yours!!

Ours took just 3 days under 10 months from the day we mailed off our application to the day we got CoPR. Congratulations Securitron

Hi everyone, I have a question. My application was received July 2013, my husband was approved as my sponsor in August and nothing has happened since (the application is in Ottawa). Is the website ever updated to say they are processing the application ( mine still just says it was received).? I know some people have to wait even longer but still frustrating. Any idea why some people's application is approved in 6 months and others take 15? It makes no sense to me. And our application is pretty straightforward too.

Hi lynz. We also applied in July. I think Securitron is the only one here that applied in July and has gotten anything done in their application, but I think he was a fluke. I think we probably have a few more months to wait.

Yeah, just keep waiting. My application was received in May and my husband was approved as my sponsor in June. My status online still says application received, even though I'm pretty sure it's in process as we received our passport request at the end of November. Just be patient it takes awhile I know it's hard! I am checking the status multiple times a day LOL
