yeah we are still waiting too NicAnn!

Those of us waiting for COPR, has anyone emailed to check on the COPR status and have they replied? I'm so anxious but I am more worried about bugging them.

Hi ,

I got my visa stamped and passport returned on Nov 14, 2013. CPP-Ottawa returned my passport to my consultant based in Toronto instead of sending back to me in USA.

You meant was that the COPR? CONGRATS anyway!! :D

no we haven't cause we r sure ours was delayed because of some issue with the photos we submitted. They requested 4 more photos last week and only received them on Tuesday. So we r hoping the COPR comes any day.

No we feel that it's best not to bug them especially since we're within the normal time line. Give them at least 60 days and see what happens.

Like Chala we are still within the time limits given for Ottawa family class visa applications, however we see some that got their ppr get COPR in a month to 6 weeks from sending a copy of the passport, so I was hoping for a month...just impatient I guess...

I got mine in just under 2 weeks about. It's crazy how different each and every app gets treated.

I know, it's an approximation...if there were more consistency I think we would just know the date to expect it, but this way you are always looking just in case you miss it, and it just seems like that "watched pot that never boils" :(

I have a question....general background again first...visa office is Ottawa..my husband got PPR on Aug.12th..we sent that in along with proof of communication and the orginal FBI check(he sent in a copy by mistake)...he redid his medicals as doctor and immigration lost them...they were received Oct 29...according to gcms notes it looks like his application went into process on Oct.31...he is planning on moving here middle of december regardless....question is should we update his address to mine here in Ontario now or wait to see if he receives his COPR by the time he plans to move..and would it make a difference if we change his address to mine even though he would still be living there for another month...thanks in advance for the help
