Dear Sir,

Please be advised that your file is in the process of finalization. You should receive an email/letter soon with further instructions.

Wow, 4 years? Congrats on winning. It shouldn't be much longer, they did use the word "soon". Good luck!

We just received DM today! We just checked the ECAS system this afternoon. My wife and I are very happy and excited! No lines have been added to our file and the last one is still 3. Medical Results received... but the main page now shows Decision Made instead of In Process.

We are US Outland and applied September 1, 2015. Good luck to everyone else awaiting DM and COPR!!

Just wanted to update everyone we got our COPR Saturday in the mail, was mailed out Feb 15th from Ottawa to Florida. My wife will be landing in late July.

Does anyone know the reason different information between the sponsoring partner and the applicant in ECAS? When my spouse (the sponsor) logs into ecas they see the 3 lines for both of us and when I log in I see a 4th line that says "We sent you correspondence..." Both of us have been using the application number as the login. Does it make a difference if I use the application number or my Client Id/UCI? [My assumption was everything was all sync'd but I don't think that's the case].

And thanks for the previous help and insight, I think the final waiting game begins as I sent off the proof of ongoing cohabitation and the receipt for payment of the $490 landing fee Tuesday Feb 23rd...

My timeline for those interested:
July 28th, 2015 - Application mailed via express courier
July 30, 2015 - Application Recieved
August 29, 2015 - Correspondence on Receipt of Application
August 28, 2015 - Sponsor Processing Began
September 28, 2015 - Applicant Processing Began
**Medical results were sent upfront**
February 17, 2016 - Correspondence sent: Request for payment of landing fee and proof of ongoing cohabitation
February 23, 2016 - Paid the $490 and sent the receipt and proof of ongoing cohabitation (docs were too large to upload) via express courier

Congrats Ummy!! That is so awesome! My timeline is similar to yours, I can only hope that my DM will be soon. I did have to send in a document two weeks ago, so that might hold it up a bit.

It must be such an awesome feeling!!

For the people who got DM recently, did you see 'medicals received' soon after your application was transfered to Ottawa? Or did it come some time after? Still yet to see medical received and its been there for almost 6 weeks.

Hi CanadaUSA11.

Our medical results line showed up shortly after they said my wife's application was in process. It has been that way for the past 4 months or so. It now shows Decision Made, but still the 3rd line (medical results) is the last think in our file.

Hope that helps.

My wife's medicals didn't show up until after I emailed them, we did medical upfront and was sent via the e-medical system. Application was received late July and it was early January and still nothing. So I emailed Ottawa and magically 2 days later it showed up in ecas and 3 weeks later DM. Leads me to think that DM would have been sooner if not for their little mishap. On the bright side they extended her medical by a full 2 months lol

File transfer to Ottawa was in December and PR side changed to In Process on Dec 16th for us. Medicals received appeared sometime in early January 2016. My spouse did his medicals after we sent in the application (late November).

Applied: 8 Oct 2015
Application Receipt: 26 Nov 2015
Meds done upfront: 29 Nov 2015
SA Approval and file transfer: 12 December 2015
Sent in medical upfront docs along with FBI document to Ottawa after file transfer (those were the only outstanding items in our application): 14 December 2015
PR side In Process: 16 December 2015
Medicals received line appeared: Early January 2016
Decision Made: 29 Feb 2016

Any non Amercians been getting DM? Wondering if non Americans are quicker or slower through Ottawa, does CIC have to do any of the police checks on behalf of US applicants or is all sent in by the applicant?
