They probably just realized they had a few thousand two-year-old files from Buffalo.lunas said:
At least they didn't add another three or four months I guess. I'm just trying to stay positive, even though it ruined my weekend. :-\IvanP said:They probably just realized they had a few thousand two-year-old files from Buffalo.
And LA to 10 to 16 I'm thankful that ours got done quickly!IslandAnnie said:VO processing times have just been updated... Ottawa has increased from 12 months to 13.

I think you need minimum of 10 postings , then you can edit your profile .Yellowrose said:OK, I'm new to the forums, if you would, please add me! My application was received on 12-13-12 (Mississaugua), and we received sponsorship approval on 1-4-13.
And a silly question: where do I set up my profile that we see on the left side of the screen?
Same here, just trying to stay positive, at least people from July are starting to get PPRs! That's good news. Maybe they're 13 months are just to keep us from complaining or something.lunas said:At least they didn't add another three or four months I guess. You need 10 posts for the info on the side. But I can add you to the Ottawa spreadsheet if you'd like, just give me this info:Yellowrose said:OK, I'm new to the forums, if you would, please add me! You're added! Just a note so you don't get confused, Mississauga isn't your Legacy VO, that's just where everyone's sponsor approval comes from. The legacy VO column is for people who's files have been transferred from another visa office like Buffalo or Islamabad during the second stage.Yellowrose said:Legacy VO: Mississauga

Thanks for including me
Hi Zero i'm in the same boat as you, I had new meds requested in December (went for them 3 weeks ago). If its any consolation whilst I was chatting away with my DMP (turns out we have mutual friends lol) he told me that when they submit their reports to Ottawa following results of blood tests, then CIC (if they have any concerns) have started to get really quick about contacting DMPS - sometimes in as little as 2 weeks to discuss them.zero_03 said:New meds requested today.
I think I know the answer - but do you know if Medicals are the 1st or the last thing checked in the admissibility assessment?
It's the 1st communication from Ottawa since July 28th, 2012 and trying to figure out if this is the first time their touching my file or if it's been in process (security checks etc).
Thanks for your take computergeek, and congrats to all the recent PPR recipients. Best of luck on the COPR stage!computergeek said:It means they are processing your file. It's quite likely that it's the only thing outstanding, though they could be waiting back on security checks.
wow, that's a crappy timeline you have there - kudos for sticking it out! let's keep each other posted on what happens with this meds renewal thing. I'm sure others will be interested how it plays out.moochops said:Hi Zero i'm in the same boat as you, I had new meds requested in December (went for them 3 weeks ago). That makes me feel a little more hopeful that if they are looking at the resubmitted medicals within lets say a month, then barring any issues we should be getting ppr i'm hoping around 6 weeks after the meds were taken.
I know in my case this was the last step after finalising a myriad of other things over the last 2 years that CIC seemed hellbent on getting!!!!
