Agreed, seems like a nonsensical approach to me, as the majority of those in the US still receive a PPR. Our passports were nowhere near the expiration date and copies sent at the beginning, and, since they only ask to see the cover page, there's no evidence of stamps which show any travel...

Adeolu, our PPR came on 6/7, and I returned it by email on Sunday, 6/9. From what I gather from CIC responses, it was approved for COPR on 6/13 and put into a print queue, mailed on 6/21 and arrived in Texas on 7/1.

My husband and I both ended up emailing them several times about the COPR with the same results... once was almost immediately, the third time almost 2 weeks later when the situation was already resolved.

Brightredscream, if you're in the US, I can tell you that mine took about 2 1/2 weeks to arrive after the COPR processing. Mine was supposed done on June 13th, and I received it on July 1st. Just be waiting at the mailbox every day... ::)
