Done! So glad to see July applicants getting PPR (especially since your sponsorship was approved 10 days before my family's!).

As for proof, one would think that spending a big chunk of change on immigration fees/doctor visits would seem to be a sufficient indication of intent, wouldn't one? I don't remember exactly what we've spent so far, but it's been quite a bit!

we sent in a letter from my dad restating that yes we are able to live with him once we move up to Canada (he had written a letter that we sent in with our application) and saying that he is offering and that I have accepted to an apprenticeship in his company. I also had a letter that I wrote saying what things we have done and are doing to get ready for our move like selling and packing our house up, getting our children's Canadian Citizenship certificates and whatnot.

Received communication!!! July 30th Applicant. Received an e-mail stating that they expect to finalize my husband's application without a personal interview!!!

Wow that is great news! Hopefully that means they'll be hurrying up with July applicants so they can get to mine already! haha I applied in August so mine should be coming soooonnn =D

So still no news from CIC, but I hope they hurry up and start giving out more PPRs. Especially since I have to now save for a wedding since my boyfriend and I just got engaged today.

Thanks. I think I'm going to order mine at the beginning of next week. My medicals expire in April and we are going on vacation then, so I'm hoping they will send me my COPR by then.

Ø Copy of your passport. This must be received at this office by: 03/31/2013


Please note:

All documents must be accompanied by English or French translations. When original documents are requested, notarised documents are not acceptable."



Is it acceptable to email scanned documents of everything? I'm assuming if they are asking me to pay the right of PR fee then its a good sign right? anyone had similar experience?

This looks like PPR to me (I'll update the spreadsheet). It seems a little weird that they are looking for sponsor financial information after your sponsor has been approved, but what do I know? I would send it by email and mention that you'd be happy to send hard copies if necessary, but it shouldn't be because they are asking for copies, not originals.

Thanks for your reply! Yes I thought it was only Mississauga that needed financial info for the sponsor (and he was approved by them obviously). But I guess I will send some more info if that's what they want! When they ask for a copy of my passport...its just the page with my photo on right? How come sometimes they ask for the actual passport and sometimes only a copy? (I must hae sent about 5 copies of the picture page in with my application too...) Do you think that they will delay my case now because I have to send them additional docs? I am going to send everything by email tomorrow.

Yayy more PPRs! So glad things are finally moving at a seemingly faster rate, lets hope they power through these!
