Can someone help me?

second application to sponsorh my wife, she is living in US with a student permit
first application was refused, because they dont trust our relation ( we didnt go to appeal )
we send the second application in 08 February 2013
sponsorship accepted 20-February 2013
Permanent Residence
We received application for permanent residence on February 8, 2013.
Medical results have been received.

we get an email asking to pay FRDP fees (490$) + proof that i live in canada ( pay stub, phone bills , drivers licence, any thing can prrof that i live in canada rigth now)

we send them all documents request since september 05-2013

and i wondering , when they gonna ask her to send her passport. are we in final stage , as they ask her to pay the fees?

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada. To continue the treatment, we need the following documents:



Ø RPRF Family reunification: Ask your sponsor to pay the Right of Permanent Residence $ 490. These documents must reach this office not later than: 10/14/2013

Ø Residence dir: Evidence that the respondent lives in Canada. This includes but is not limited to: last 2 pay stubs and two recent utility bills (telephone, electricity). Driver's license, property tax, no ass of social cards assessment / disease are not sufficient. These documents must reach this office not later than: 10/14/2013



I suggest if you want to speed up the process of sending me these documents by email to avoid postal delays. Please just ask scan documents and attach them as attachments by replying to my email attachments.

It sounds like they have started processing your application. I would provide them all they asked for immediately via email and at the same time i would send them copy of your passport (are you visa exempt?). I think they need all of this information from you before they can process the final stage. Once they receive that documentation then you should get the passport request. Again, if you are visa exempt send a scanned copy of passport. If you have to send in the passport then you need to wait for that request.

Please correct me if I'm wrong anyone.

It is positive they have started looking at your application!!

the message was send to my wife, she is living in US with a student permit, she is not visa excempt country! i all ready send them alle the document requested since 05-septeber-2013, and i called the cic, and they have already received them since 2 weeks ago, but i didnt heart anything else from from them

From what I have read on the boards, you may be delayed a couple of months because all documents were not submitted with original application. The good news is they are processing your file, the bad news is you will have to wait a bit longer until they look at your file again. From my understanding they look at a file, request the documents they need and then put the file aside for awhile to give time to the person to send in the requested forms. They will come back around to your file and as long as all forms requested were provided THEN they will ask for the passport. I know it's hard to hear there is a longer wait but remember the positive, they have looked at your file and you are in process!! Good luck and try to be patient. I know how hard that can me.

Have you heard of anyone ever getting their COPR without their ecas ever changing to DM?

Yes. Some people have it change AFTER they get COPR in the mail. Since it seems they so batch updates to eCAS periodically, when you get the DM update varies from where you were in the process when they did the batch update.

My wife got her COPR one day after eCAS flipped to DM.

Visa stamped - 06 september( friday)

Decision made - 09 September(didn't check after friday afternoon)

COPR and PP received by Lawyer- 24 september in Canada
