Once you get your COPR you will see there is a date on it that tells you when you must land by or the COPR is no longer valid. Can't imagine anyone who has waited as long as some people have for that document to arrive that you would ever let it run outbrightredscream said:I was wondering the same thing...
Once he gets his COPR, how long does he have from that date to land?
Am I able to cross with him? We were talking about me flying down there and doing the drive together.
What are some helpful hints?
When the one for my spouse arrived we made plans for a quick trip to the US for possessions so it was a very quick down and back by car. Just be sure to have the B4 and B4A forms all filled out. We listed everything that was already here as we had been bringing things back with each trip we made during the year of waiting for the process. We will carry those forms with us every time we cross for next while and check off what is already here.
You certainly can do the crossing together and I think doing it together is the best way. This is certainly a shared process. Both the waiting, the frustration and then the relief and happiness that it is a done deal finally. Enjoy that final stage together
