my permit has been approved, but I want to know if its a good idea to go to canada now or wait till september before going. I want to start getting everything in place like accommodation etc

Go in august not now its too early...

Well there is no harm in going now but you should be prepared with good reasons for your early arrival

If you go know, be ready to explain to the VO why you think it will take you almost 10 weeks to get accomodation in place

Also you will need atleast an additional $4k/cad to show that you can pay the expenses for this time period

Be aware that they may ask you to go back and come in closer to the start of school

Also be aware that you are not allowed to work in Canada until your classes start in September
