They're definitely working much slower than before ... they send only 118 AOR last week.

They were working on aprox 30 apply every day for the last 21 days.

So most of the forecasts seem to be pretty negative about november applicants. i will be eligible for cec by mid november, and the the application could reach them by nov 20th. I know predictions wouldn't help but the way i see it, seems like the 8,000 cap is going to be filled even before. Too sad they cannot take all applications before jan 2015

Buddy,

I wont loose hopes......and moreover its is no body's control when the applications would be full.....Stay positive...Get your documents in place....and submit whenever u r eligible....Till that time keep an eye on the quota and pray for the best.......My wishes are with you and all those who would be filing....Even I would be filing mid october...so pray for me also :-)

This is depressing! People used to get AOR in 25 days and it is 60 days now all because they process less than 200 apps instead of 350 every week. :-[
It would be a tragedy if somebody's application gets returned for missing signatures, docs, etc. You will be delayed by almost 2 months and the cap will be filled by the time you submit the application again. I am literally losing sleep over this :-[ :-[

try to be positive and don't give up ... , I'm thinking like you too but, In the other way, 175 is better than the tragic *118* 2 weeks ago. Anyway, we can't change anything ... be strong :)

Is it only NOC B that has a cap ? what if you are applying under O ?

Each NOC B has a cap of 200 apply max. After, all NOC O, A AND B, together, have a cap of 8000 apply max.

Everything is here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/applications-accepted.asp

why don't they just hire more CIO office and increase the fee to pay them ?

this will create jobs. LOLOL

so this cap is count for those AOR is sent or only applications accepted?

Not very sure about the applications being accepted are getting AORs, but the thing is rejection or sub cap filling(200) will start from now for those very hot NOCs in B. Any ways the application will only get rejected if the document checklist is not satisfactory or unconvincing tweaks about experience.

^ I'm not sure I understand this, but an application is "accepted" when it has been issued an AOR.

The cap is a limit on applications accepted, not on applications approved.

i meant accpeted. my bad. Getting Aor(accepted). Also Issued AORs are the ones count to the cap being filled. thats what i meant

Cap Updated 3,342 / 8,000 (09/22/2014) ....Their pace is increasing....255 AOR's issued last week compared to 175 a week earlier......
