COPR from London

Does anyone know If London sent out COPRs using Royal Mail signed for? I received a card from the Royal Mail that they tried to deliver a parcel!

I don't know if that's what it is or not. Will have to wait until tomorrow to find out . Still showing as application received in ECAS.

The parcel originated from 19 Upper Woodcot CR8 3HF, going by Royal Mail online track and trace. Seems to be a post office in Purley in South London. Don't know if this is the one London the visa office use.

Oh let me know tomorrow .. I just told my husband I was so down this morning when ecas showed application received, then I saw your post and it made me smile.

Yes, London sends the packages as tracked and signed, so you may well be in luck! Go pick up that package and then let us know and then I can update you too!

Oh... Fingers crossed for you. I'm another one of those people hoping they just forgot to update ECAS and my COPR will magically turn up one day.

I'm less optimistic than Taffy but wishing you luck!

I'm not overly confident that it will be my COPR, but I live in hope. Will post tomorrow if it's good news!

Mec14 if I can see a little movement from London it keeps my hopes up and stops me from putting the house up for sale and saying sod it . I'm British citizen so I can move back when ever so its a little tough right now waiting this out without my husband here in Canada.

I understand. I don't mean to dash your hopes... I too search for signs of life, just try not to get my hopes up too much because it tends to fuel my frustration.

In this case it would seem rather odd for CIC to route packages through a post office in Purley (given their location)... unless of course they happen to outsource to a printer located there.

I will be thrilled if I am wrong!

No reason I know of. I requested notes when my medicals expired so will see in a couple of weeks. Last time I checked there were no issues with my app so I assume it's just sitting in a pile waiting to be picked up.

Unfortunately it wasn't my COPR Back to waiting again!

It won't be long now,i can feel it in my bones
My file got brought forward on the 31st according to my notes, so i'm hoping they are going o do something soon.

Requested GCMS notes back in December which basically said:

Eligibility: In Progress (recommended passed)
Security: Not Started
Criminality: In Progress
Medical: Passed

But there had been no updates on my file since August, so looks like the did a bit of work on it, then parked it to come back to later.
