Agreed, Condition 51 is a good thing and helps to stop fraud marriages. I'd love to know how much of the family class budget is spent due to these types of marriages. Bet it's a hell of a lot. Also they push up the wait time for the rest of us.

After being decision made for just over a week, had a new line appear on ECAS "We sent you a letter on September 14, 2015. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us." just hoping to god I've got a positive decision. Holding off celebrating until I have the letter in hand!

Well after 14 + months I checked ECAS an hour ago ( I easily check it 20 times a day) and I finally have decision made :) doesn't seem real and I think it's going to take a while to sink in! Can't believe it's finally done. Now to wait for the COPR paperwork!

My second medical results were sent by the doctor to CIC via e-medical. I didn't have to send anything to CIC

Well today is 14 months since my application was first received. Feel like I should be getting flowers from CIC, haha!

I'm the same, it's been too long any optimism I had is completely gone.

3 months, the problem is I can't hire a car as I have no credit card and I can't swap my UK licence for a Canadian one without some kind of immigration paperwork.
