Has anyone booked Delhi to Vancouver? Is it really 2 lakhs? Plus it says they won't serve meals or even water on flight. Is this true? Can anyone confirm who has flown through Vande Bharat flights?
My brother flew Mumbai London last month, only one packet of food was given and they were encouraged to bring their own water bottle, he is an Air India first officer who was off duty traveling to London. Different routes may have different conditions though

It would have been respectful from you to just explain what will happen rather than addressing me as a cry baby!
As a matter of fact no one knows what will happen including IRCC, I think you’re the only person who is so certain of the outcome of this fluid situation
All visas will be extended, period. There is no fluid situation.

This is a 16 hour flight to Vancouver and they have clearly stated meals will not be served due to safety. They're encouraging us to bring own food and carry water bottles.

Assume though that the 100ml liquid restriction still applies though through airport security so would have to rely on purchasing water airside. Plus of course ensure no food left over when arriving at POE such as fruit or meat products

Hi, Would you have any idea if Air India is allowing excess baggage in VBM flights? and if food/water was being served on the flight? I am asking this because its written on the website as "No meals/drinking water will be served on board except in extreme circumstances arising due to health reasons."

Thanks
You can request for excess baggage at the airline counter, maybe they will allow you free of charge. As I was having excess weight 30kg+30kg but they didn’t charge me, I don’t know why.
Meal (Snacks) was available. In Air India it was already packed and placed on passenger seat in plastic bags, which was more than sufficient till London. If you are connecting with Air Canada then Air Canada also provides snacks these days. No cold drinks and no stationery items like pens, pencils for filling up Canada Border Agency forms.

But that full pack of snacks was more than sufficient quantity, a person can have in 12 to 16 hours.

Air India and Air Canada both provided water bottles as many as you want in my flight. Two bottles of 500ml were already there in the food package.

True but was just stressing point where a poster encouraged to bring own food AND water bottle. The liquid rules have not yet changed and easy to forget if people do not travel often.

Masks of course are now mandatory at least as understand it on Air Canada and moving around aircraft cabin or queueing for the bathroom discouraged if not outright not allowed on some airlines. Flying used to be a hassle pre COVID but now even more so

The rules keep on changing, but anyways given the situation right now, better to get your own stuff. But the only thing that bothers me is the price of the ticket.

I did not know about the 100ml restriction. This seems like a lot of planning is required. Thanks

For Vancouver it says 2 lakhs. Someone mentioned they're charging 4 lakhs for Toronto. :(

To all who are looking to fly from India under Vande Bharat Phase 3 there are few flights which are available. I manged to get a booking for 28th of June! Just now.
Hi, any idea how much of excess baggage is allowed in domestic flights if we are taking a connecting flight to Delhi for Toronto?
