Does anybody know what kind of medical conditions can lead to inadmissibility? My Mom is going for medicals next week. She has arthritis and is taking medication for depression. I was wondering if I have a reason to worry.

The annual cost of her care in Canada will be more than $6,500 per year to the health care system or can expect to increase to this level in the next 5 years.

If it is just relatively mild arthritis and depression, then there is nothing to worry about.

I had a similar question for depression that is mild and dad just taking medication for it. Doctor noted that during medical and said CIC might refer to a psychiatrist and there is a long wait to see one in GTA. Anyway, my parents will be going back to home country in a month, so might have to do that there, if asked for.
