Is there any way to order a duplicate report sent directly to CIC? Received a following e-mail from them:

In order for Citizenship and Immigration Canada to process your application, we will need to review and verify your Education Credential Assessment (ECA) evaluation report by using Comparative Education Service’s (CES) online service. To date, we have not been able to verify your report. CES has indicated that you did not use the approved CIC-Federal Skilled Worker Program application process on their website, and therefore they are unable to release any information to our office.

In order to allow CIC to process your application for permanent residence, please contact CES to request that your ECA report be made available to us. Please be advised that you may need to order a duplicate report and select CIC as a recipient of your CES evaluation report.

Please advise how this can be done. Did not see an online option on University of Toronto site, just a hard copy, but they can not send it to CIC.

Dear All,

Any one can help me about the docs required by CES for ECA. I just had complete my sealed docs from HEC and Matric/Inter board but both are in black and white copy.... Is it acceptable to them for evaluation?

Furthermore, i am going to send them my form along with color copy of educational documents.

AlHamdulillah, by the GRACE and WILL of ALLAH ALMIGHTY, I have received my unofficial copy of ECA report in email from CES this morning.

AlHamdulillah, my ECA report came out in successful assessment of my credentials.

1) what is the equivalency of Diploma in Associate Engineering (DAE) after Intermediate? Is it counted as three years diploma after Canadian Post Secondary?

2) Which one is better CES or WES?

1) No idea about the DAE question. Other members may be able to help better than me for it

(2) There are pros' and cons' everywhere. WES provides faster service, but WES is only worth hiring for ECA, if your organization of study is listed in WES's "accepted list of universities from your country". Otherwise WES is useless for you. Don't hire them. CES takes longer, but accepts credentials from a far broader range of organizations from outside Canada in comparison to WES or ICAS. WES requires all docs from secondary till Ph.D level (whichever applies). CES requires only post-secondary docs if you have Bachelors or beyond).

In my specific case, I found ICAS having "rigid" management policies, so much so, that they weren't able to do the work they are designated for.

4 yrs Bachelors + Masters (tenure) from recognized university.

AlHamdulillah, hard copy of my ECA report arrived 2 weeks after they sent me the unofficial report via email, by regular mail.

Looking at Hariskhan's case, I believe that the average processing time is 4 months. On CES website, the processing time has dropped to 9 weeks for immigration.

I should curse them as much as I can. They took 6 months for processing my docs, and now they are offering to do it in 9 weeks only.

On second thought, its useless in any case. It never helps.

And my ECA is done. I have a positive report.
