I sent mine on 18th June
Received acknowledgement on 8th July over Email
And now waiting for the ECA report
It says on their website that the processing time is 7 weeks. It means 7 weeks after they've received the package(in my case 8th July), right?

Received my E-copy of the report last night AH.

Hi friends,

Please help me to clear this concern...
I have a 1 year foreign diploma which I need to get it assessed as it equals to 1 year Canadian diploma. For some of the subjects in the diploma I have been given exemptions based on my professional certification and I didn’t follow those subjects. Will it be possible to get it assessed as a 1 year diploma?

CES assesses secondary education credentials and postsecondary academic degrees and diplomas from universities and colleges.

CES does not assess any of the following:

Continuing Education programs
Short Courses
Apprenticeships
Trade certificates
In-company training
Memberships in professional associations
Professional licenses
Work Experience
Second-language training programs (e.g. ESL)

(To see what kinds of credentials that CES can assess, please visit: http://learn.utoronto.ca/international-professionals/comparative-education-service-ces/ces-services)

Yes, almost. Waiting for Inter certificate.

My credit card has been charged last week and I received an e-copy of the receipt too. I haven't yet sent the transcripts to them (since I'm yet to get them from my University). Also, is TRANSCRIPT a must for non-PhD applications? the website does not mandate its requirement for Mumbai University.

Does anybody have an idea if this means the processing has begun or it would take while until I hear from them? I'm unable to reach them on phone, I get directed to their voicemail.

I did not join any institute. I just practised Cambridge IELTS book 1-9. they are readily available on internet. Solved all their general training tests. 14 days is enough time if you practise as much as you can.
Just make sure while you're practising Listening exercises, avoid using earphones as they are not available in the actual test.

Good Luck!

I can't possibly provide my contact details just like that.

For me reading was the easiest and Listening/writing were the toughest. I read books/novels and my reading speed is pretty good. I used to complete the test within 40 minutes while practising. And obviously there must have been luck factor too.

The tips in this book Ace the Ielts really helped me get over confusions with T/F/NG questions.
Go through this one.
