Companies that provide work permit.........anyone?

Hello,

Does anybody know a company that provides work permits for IT jobs. I am guessing that the work permit is something similar to H1b.Correct me if i am wrong.

One of my friend's H1b (in the US) is expiring. He desperately needs help.

There really aren't any - that's why no one is responding.

Occasionally someone gets lucky and manages to secure a job offer + LMO in that field if they know someone, have specialized experience, have specialized skills, etc. But it's pretty difficult and there really aren't any companies that are known for providing work permits for IT jobs.

Rather than waiting for an answer from you - your friend should be spending his time looking through job boards such as monster.ca and the Canadian Job Bank - and applying for jobs he's qualified for.

Hope something works out for him.

And just to clarify - companies can't provide work permits.

Companies provide job offers and approved Labour Market Opinions. The foreign worker then applies for a work permit with the job offer and approved LMO.
