To be able to sponsor you later, She must add you as a common law spouse.
Since you two will become common law (Dec 2018) by the time she is able to get her PR (Aug, Sept 2019), she needs to add you to her application.

Hopefully, she is apply via Express Entry or other economic/skill.
If she didn't include you in her application, she can NEVER sponsor you. (even if you two decided to get married later)
Hello . Can someone please help me here? I am living in canada with my BF since last 4 years. we haven't aware with common law thing before. my BF just got an invitation for PR but while creating his EE profile we have selected his marital status as Single. Now we want me to put into his file as "common law" as the CRS cut off is really law so it won't effect to his score. will there be any problem just because we mentioned him as single before? will there is chance us to get rejection because of this even if we have enough proofs to prove our relationship as genuine.

As I said before, I am not familiar with EE or other economic route to become PR. Most active members in this section of the forum (Family Sponsorship) know more about family sponsorship programs (spousal, PGP..etc). You should post your question in the EE section. I am sure a lot of them went through similar issue. But the very foundamental for information to IRCC is that be honest. If you made mistake before and noticed it now, try to correct it.

Hello Khyati,
I am in the same boat now. We need to prove our common law relationship in express entry. Can I know what proofs did you submit to prove relationship?

Hoping to get good advice from you
