Hello everyone,
I had a couple questions regarding inland vs outland common law sponsorship.
1. I was wondering what the typical wait/processing times were for each?
2. If there is a benefit over the other?
3. I am being sponsored by my boyfriend next month, however i'm planning on leaving the country (Canada) to visit my family for a couple months while the application is being processed. Does this require me to apply via outland? Or can I still do inland? Thanks!
4. If I do happen to apply via outland, how long am I allowed to stay outside of Canada to visit my family?
4a. Once I do come back, do I have to let the government know that I have returned, since we're in the middle of the application process?
Lastly, my boyfriend is graduating this August and therefore has no income at the moment and has no job offer for this upcoming fall. We are planning on living with his parents until he graduates. Will his income status/student status affect our application during the financial evaluation?
Thanks!
