We used G4S and within a month our Colombian PCC was accepted. We started the PCC process after receiving the request from ircc. And ours was for PR through PGP program.

Pedi el certificado a Omnitempus a comienzo de abril, ellos lo enviaron a la embajada el 12 de abril. Sin noticias desde ahi. La embajada no responde, llamadas, en persona, emails ni webforms.
That is strange. Why are they doing this process for Colombia? Why can not we submit the police certificate upfront like from other countries....... 11th September our PCC was sent to embassy... I hope they submit it quickly....
Those who got background check completed, did canada embassy in bogota contact you or confirm that your pcc was submitted to IRCC officer ?
Has your PCC been submitted to IRCC by embassy of Canada in BOGOTA? OR
it has only been submitted to embassy of Canada in Bogota?
My PCC is submitted to canada embassy in bogota last week.....can i expect it to get to IRCC by Mid october?
Sorry to be brutally honest, but don't get your hopes up. Mine was submitted to the Embassy on April 12th, still waiting...
That is punshiment.....Real punishment... How do you know it has still not been submitted? by calling IRCC agent ?
What is the way around?
Anybody with some positive experience here? My agency was Omnitempus.
It sucks, believe me, I know. I received a letter from IRCC saying I have 60 days to provide the PCC. I have called many times to explain the situation and submitted many webforms with proofs of submission and emails. As of yesterday, it has not been submitted to the IRCC

It clearly says this "
Service providers will send us your Background Verification Certificate directly. You won’t receive a copy of this document, and the IRCC visa office will translate this document on your behalf.
Please submit the original confirmation email received from the service provider indicating that you have applied for a Background Verification certificate as part of your IRCC application."
This does not suggest to take the issue up with embassy of canada in bogota....... I believe, with the letter that omnitempus sends to us, it is completed and maybe IRCC contacting embassy of canada in bogota is some internal process........ I saw many profiles in this forum who applied for colombia PCC via these agecies and they got their PR in 4 months or less......so i guess (guess only), it is not something to worry as thousands of people from colombia go through this process every month and the number of complaints are very few........ we maybe stressing ourselves out by sending webforms to the embassy .....they might already be doing this internally.
We know we won’t physically receive the police certificate. However, we have all received a letter from ircc that our police certificate is missing, when we’ve all done the process with G4S or Omnitempus. They’ve done their part of sending it to the Bogota Embassy, the Bogota embassy has failed to deliver our PCC to our IRCC VO, hence why they are asking for it.
like 2 weeks after I submitted my application (mid February 2024 having done the process with G4S on January) IRCC sent me a letter asking for the police certificate , even though I sent them G4S email confirmation. Which means, the embassy in Bogotá hasn’t sent it to ircc. So far, IRCC hasn’t rejected my application. In fact, i have approval in principle. But the background check hasn’t been completed, so I’m not 100% sure ifthe embassy has sent the police certificate or not
Thanks. Since you have already gone through the process, what you say makes sense. We are badly disadvantaged then. I have my PCC sent to the embassy and I am short on time. So, this is a nemesis for me then. Fingers crossed and all the best to everyone.
Hola, cuando aplicaste a la residencia permanente ? Yo pedí el PCC para mi y para mí esposa con omnitempus a principios de marzo; de ircc me dicen que tienen el de mi esposa pero no el mío. También que yo he entregado todo lo que me pidieron, y que debo esperar a que ellos reciban el documento, no se si directamente de la embajada o de omnitempus
Aplique en Abril, por non express entry. El PCC lo pedi en 3 de abril. Aun nada. Verifica con Omnitempus que hayan enviado los dos a la embajada :O Gravisimo que solo aparezca uno! La buena nueva para mi es que si ya estan empezando a llegar los de marzo, ojala los de abril empiecen pronto tambien.
