Citizenship timeline-Saskatoon, SK

Hey y'all !

I mailed a Citizenship application about a month ago from within Canada. Either they got it within about 4 days or they didn't get it at all, I assume.

At what point should I expect news from them--and if I don't hear anything, call them? Should I wait a month, 3, 6?

I would say the average is 3 months for an acknowledgement.... Did you send a trackable package? The delivery signature maybe the only thing you can go by until you get an acknowledgement.

haha oops. No, I did not do any such wise thing. Ok, so I guess I will take it on faith that they have my application lol!

I'll try looking online from time to time, using my PR card number, I suppose!

You can always call them. I am not sure the reps can see your "record" as it may not be entered into the system yet.

I noticed today that there are 4 citizenship ceremonies for Regina Sep 30/Oct 1....Hopefully that results in some good news to the group....

It is on the CIC website for citizenship ceremony dates.....

Just checked my update on the CIC website today. Oath scheduled for Oct 2nd...... Happy Happy Happy!!!

Hi redstone,
I think they may be in progress of updating the ceremony date website. I had the same doubt, but my eCas update specifically mentions Oct 2nd. I havent got my physical letter yet, to confirm though.
