I mailed my citizenship application to CIC on January 30,2013. I received a mail from them on March 21,2013 stating that my citizenship application form is outdated??? I mailed my application back on March 21,2013 again. How stupid is that? If the form is changed in Feb,2013, that would like to have a correct form in January. They delayed my application by two months.

I just two envelopes in the mail- both from Citizenship Canada. Have not been home, so i am not sure what it actually is for.. any ideas?

There is someting wrong if it has been 2 years since you are in process..if no RQ then there is serious issue somewhere

the timeframe they are giving is 25-28 months... I´ve called cic office and all is fine with my application, they are sending out test letters for people applying march/apri2011 right now.... hopefully that indicates its my turn soon

@ISK What is your local office?! I have the same timeline and still waiting for test! The CIC call center never told me about sending letters for tests...actually I know many cases who applied after me at the same office, Kitchener, and got their citizenship already!

It can take upto 6 weeks to receive it.

My office is winnipeg .. I have waited 25 months so far. For people applying in Winnipeg at similar time (June 2011) it's the same, they are still waiting to take the test. I'm guessing in the next 2-3 months we take the test. At least now we don't have to wait for a letter with results for 4 months like before but get a citizenship ceremony date right away so that part of the process is shorter

Hello all,

A question for those from Edmonton. My husband's application was received on May 1, 2012, and sent for processing on March 14, 2013. No information since then, and a call was useless. Is there anything else I can do? He is 55, been in the country 30 years, so he doesn't need to write the test.
