I am not the organizer ... But I would be lying if I told you that it does not make me happy that it happens.Exactly, from what I’ve read all of the people here agreed that writing to their MP would be helpful, this has nothing to do with the more unasserted rhetoric he has been pushing (including public demonstrations in the middle of the second wave of Covid) and yet he is trying to claim it a his own victory... anyway I’m glad that Jenny started speaking up, let’s hope this brings us results soon!
All authorizations have been obtained for both locations in Toronto and Montreal according to the organizers.
The sanitary rules will be respected.
Demonstrations are not banned until now, that's all there is to know ... You can just ignore the events if you are not interested.
Spousals sponsors had demonstrated without a problem. (And they got what they wanted).
I remind that the events will not be in closed places + I also want to add that the number does not count, not as much as the media noise.
... What do you suggest, that we wait a few years until the union considers that the code 699 is no longer necessary, at their convenience?
If you don't mind waiting for years and years, that horrifies me (even more with the prospect of a majority Conservative government that could cancel all files retroactively).
, Piotr.
