Hi, it will depends on how long you can wait for it. Regular processing may take a month but urgent 2 days. May I ask where was your certificated issued? I'm still waiting mine from Calgary office.

I don't think urgent certificates are always sent via Purolator. Mine was urgent request & my file closed a few days later...still no certificate.

I didn't have a code so I made a dummy application for temporary visa, they sent me a code to apply for temporary visa online, so I was able to make an account on the new portal by this way.

I am in a weird situation.
I was out of country due to family reasons when I got Oath Ceremony. I connected to Oath ceremony and explained the scenario.
The officer told, I can't take Oath at that time and asked to send a note through webform when I am back in Canada.

By the time, I am in Canada I got Citizenship Certificate. I was speechless on what to do.

As I haven't cut my PR card or properly participated in Oath Ceremony, I sent webform with my itinerary and mentioned I am in Canada and can take Oath any time.

Its been around 1.5-2 months and has been no update. not able to reach agent over phone.

Not sure what to do with the existing Citizenship Certificate I got.!!

No, I haven't had my oath yet it is scheduled for 22nd April. I am just asking on the forum if someone had applied for electronic certificate yet, because I heard somewhere that they are issuing it.

I tried but it does not work. It says “You have not opted to receive an electronic citizenship certificate”
