Citizenship Certificate After Oath

I ended up sending an email to which I received an automatic reply, so I don't expect an actual reply to that. And then I also called, the agent said my certificate was sent last Wednesday Feb 9 and my file was closed Feb 4, so we can't say it is send the day it closes on the portal, it seems a bit random unfortunately. Anyhow, I'm glad mine is in the mail as I have a flight in a couple weeks.

Which office you did the oath with?

Not true. Some people have their files closed the next day of the ceremony, and the certificate dispatched 14 days after it's closed. Maybe the certificate goes to printing after the file is closed

I am in Calgary, I had my ceremony on 4 November 2021. No certificate yet. I have emailed them several times and by phone I was advised to have a little more patience. I need to travel by the end of February.

Hi thx for your help I just call today again they say u have to wait the call Center can’t do nothing for me can u pleas se the address to send him an email? The inly email I sent was replying to the ceremony Email but nothing happen I read from same one here in Edmonton he had ceremony on 22 and he recive his certificate beginning on January!!!! How come? I don know and I don’t understand!!!!!!

Did you contact them about this? They say to contact them if 6 weeks passed and you didn't receive it

It was mailed from Edmonton office.

I had my ceremony on 16 December 2021 in Edmonton still waiting the certificate I sent webform and 2 emails almost 2 months now nothing happ

Hi I am in Edmonton my ceremony was on 16 December I reply twice to the ceremony email they sent me asking about my certificate nothing happen last time I called she say send him an other email and she will send an other one because it’s been more than 6 weeks almost 2 month i can’t understand what going on and same from Edmonton ther ceremony was on junaury and they recive ther certificate !!!! When I ask by phone they don’t know either!!!!! Who know? I don’t know ……

Hi everyone I am in a similar situation here and hoping you guys can shed some lights... Ottawa Office - I had my Oath Ceremony on November 23 and up until January 30 I got an email to come pick up the Certificate from the office. 2 days later I got a follow-up email to NOT come to the office due to the on-going protest and should wait until the next communication from IRCC. I need to plan my travel in the next few months and not knowing when I should expect to hear again from IRCC is increasingly frustrating. Looking forward to any advice you can offer. Thanks!

My oath is on Feb 23rd (ottawa), so I didnt really do it yet to expect a certificate, but there will most definitely be a delay because of the Trucker's demonstration in Ottawa

IRCC office is located on Queen's street, they sent an email to some people awaiting certificate saying that they are closed indefinitely and that it was out of their hands.

Now, to me it does not make sense for us to wait until whatever is happening with the truckers' situation is resolved to even start hoping that certificates will be printed, no one knows how long they will stay in downtown, and it is only reasonable for IRCC to find alternate ways to print certificates.

Does anyone have any suggestion on how to escalate this? They're like sorry we're closed, its out of our hands, providing no solution. It doesn't make sense because peoples' lives are on hold because of this.

Turned into “closed” and into “complete” today (2 x days after Oath)

let’s see when it will arrive from and within Calgary.

Is the status showing CLOSED or COMPLETE in your tracker? Seems Calgary is as bad as Ottawa.
I wish I was in Mississauga or Toronto.

Certificate received today 14th FEB (it was dispatched on 11th FEB) (Oath on 1st Feb, both Status Ecas/Citizenship closed completed on 03rdFEB)

Exciting news! Mine was dispatched from Calgary on Feb 9 according to the call centre and it's being send to Lethbridge, hopefully I get it very soon as well! Oath on Feb 2 and application closed on Feb 4.
