Citizenship Certificate After Oath -1

Hello,

I live in British Columbia. I took citizenship oath on December 01, 2021 and my application closed on December 07, 2021. But I still didn't receive my citizenship certificate. My friend who took oath a day after me (i.e. December 02, 2021), she received her certificate on December 23, 2021.

Did someone know, If there is a way to contact IRCC? As I sent emails, web forums and even tried to call them. No response.
What should I do next if I didn't receive certificate in next few days?

Same. Here in Saskatchewan i did oath on November 24 and haven’t received certificate yet. I think next option is send solemn declaration form and wait for another 6 weeks

Same here, Mississauga office application. Oath done Dec 14th and I live relatively close to the office so I’m concerned

Can we request to pickup the citizenship certificate in person at the nearest IRCC office? I heard someone mentioned Surrey IRCC allows that. Do we request in person pickup during the oath ceremony? Thank you in advance!

With the way our mail is messed up combined w/ the weather and the holidays, I would personally give it another week or two.

I can't find the post anymore. But one of my relative did the oath today (Surrey IRCC) and requested in person pickup during the oath because of her coming travel out of the country. The Oath officer granted her request and she can pick up her citizenship certificate two days later in Vancouver IRCC. They do ask for travel itinerary. So that is in line with the other post I saw before. So if anyone has the same situation, it won't hurt to ask for in person pickup.

I did my oath on Dec 22, and still waiting. Do you know anyone who did oath around your time & received the certificate from Mississauga office?

Finally received the certificate today after 77 days. Had oath on Oct 27, 2021
Nov 2019 applicant. Ottawa office. JT in subject line.

The certificate came by Puralator. It was sent from Ottawa yesterday (date on the Purolator label). Inside that there was another envelope with CanadaPost stamp on it. Which means they initially prepared it for CanadaPost and then decided to send by Purolator.

Also, today I received a reply from office of the IRCC minister (reply to my email to the minister on Dec 6th, 2021) that my certificate was printed on Jan 11, 2022 (reason of delay is covid, etc etc).

During the last 2.5 months, I sent 5 follow up emails to Ottawa office with travel evidence. No reply. Submitted webform, reply was “please contact Ottawa office”. Sent email to the office of the IRCC minister in Dec. Sent an email to my local MP last week as well. I think the email to the minister did help as his office did a follow up with Ottawa office and sent me a personalized reply.

Happy to say that I am finally DONE with JT. Ottawa Office. And IRCC

I am from Vancouver and I got my certificate within a week after the ceremony.
