So happy to find this thread. I only just noticed they changed the forms, so I’ve been working like mad to get everything ready since I have about 1500 days.

Please can someone help with a few questions;

Is there a validate button? I know I’ve found issues with my Mac and now using a windows computer but I still don’t see a Validate button! Is there a Validate button? For the Barcodes?

Do I need to get my photocopied documents notarized?

Also the calculator seems to be calculating my vacation days as half a day rather than a full day? I have so many days it shouldn’t be an issue but it doesn’t seem correct since I was out of the country.

I can’t wait until this immigration process is over!!

Hey.. Nope..I didn't see any validate button, I don't think there is one.
And no..You do not need to get any photocopies notarized

About the calculator- I would just check if you put the correct dates and your own calculation is fine- unless it's from before the time you became a PR (then the days might be counted differently I guess- read their website properly)
 
Mine was delivered on Oct 27th, so i guess i can relax for next few weeks.

If you qualify, you qualify, as long as you are sure your calculation is correct, go ahead and apply
 
Being bilingual (French/English) in Canada in many instances is not simply an asset but a requirement to get some jobs. Especially in gvt or crown corps.

Note that I said "company", not government. Two completely different entities, thus two completely different requirements.
 
Ours was a family application for 2. We received separate AORs a day apart. Now since last 10 days I am able to see my ECAS, but for my wife, there is still no ECAS. Is this normal? What should I do?

Yes, unless the job specifically spell out as part of job such as "Bilingual Clerk". In this case, a bilingual employee will get promoted to the position over someone who is not. Does the person who is not bilingual have any ground to sue employer for being passed over? Not Likely. No difference from someone who remained PR for many years getting passed over because he/she doesn't have Canadian passport for international travel requirement.
