It's not impossible to travel outside Canada if you are not Canadian. It may be more complicated, depending on the citizenship of the subject, you may have to get some visas, but it's not impossible. I know quite a few people with "complicated" passports who have jobs requiring extensive international travel, but that's not really an insurmountable issue.
If an employee were passed on for a promotion because of their passport, I believe there would be a case for discrimination.

It is totally doable. My work requires me to travel a lot (reason why I've been in the country for over 7 years!! Didn't have enough days until now). And I NEED A FREAKING VISA for every single country... I've been to around 20 or so different countries in the last 3 years...

Congrats, happy to see they didn't use our folders just to level a leg their desk, still no sign of AOR, I've been trying to call IRCC for 2 days and I can't even manage to get in the queue, the system just keeps hanging up :(
I think our applications are being processed according to C24 standard. AOR in 30-45 days from delivery. User @Najimi called them yesterday, and was advised that they are working on applications received on Oct 12th. Maybe all Ocr 12th/13th who are still waiting will get theirs this week. Hopefully!

Hello,

My application was sent on Oct 20 & delivered on Oct 25. I've not received the AOR yet. Is that normal ?

Thanks

Yes. Check the spreadsheet in my signature below. Oct 12/13/16th applicants are still waiting for their AORs. I don't think IRCC has started processing Oct 25 yet.

Hello!
So happy to find this thread. I only just noticed they changed the forms, so I’ve been working like mad to get everything ready since I have about 1500 days.

Please can someone help with a few questions;

Is there a validate button? I know I’ve found issues with my Mac and now using a windows computer but I still don’t see a Validate button! Is there a Validate button? For the Barcodes?

Do I need to get my photocopied documents notarized?

Also the calculator seems to be calculating my vacation days as half a day rather than a full day? I have so many days it shouldn’t be an issue but it doesn’t seem correct since I was out of the country.

I can’t wait until this immigration process is over!!

but sounds wierd to ask Police certificate because just before issuing my visa they asked me a new Police Certificate so just before i leave back home , i gave them Police certificate and they got it for that period and after that i was in canada
If I am at your place, I would write an explanation letter stating all facts and attaching copy of PCC sent previously. But if you want to play 100% safe then get a new PCC.

You may also call IRCC for the consultation; one of the forum member reported that PCC is required only for the period after becoming PR but question doesn't state it clearly.

It should be same as you stated but question is not statong the same. Applicant has to provide PCC if applicant has spent 183 days, continuous or in phases, in another country during last 4 years from the date of application.

What about the people who are refugee here and applying for citizenship ? How they will Police Clearance from their home country ?
