Guys, what's the point of filling this version of the form, if it can't be printed???

No point. I'm gonna get some sleep. They messed up the form big time; it'll take a couple of days to fix and clarify everything. Meanwhile, the physical presence calculator is getting slammed with traffic and is unusable. Waste of time.

Q #10, asking about address during relevant period which show in my case 1 year befotre entering Canada

I have the same question too..
I put my home address, registrar's office in Name of contact, and I put school phone number and email.

I can't even print it out though. Who the heck made this stupid pdf file.

Exactly, everyone who have been taking your time to fill up the form, you are going to be SOL because you cannot print this form - nor can you SAVE this form. You will have to retype everything in the new form hopefully which is "printable!"

From section 11 "Tell us what have you been doing during your eligibility period" if there are gaps the application will be returned to you. this is nuts men.

Yes, that's another shit show, as someone wisely called the form itself, which does not print. This relevant period mess is due to the pre-PR credit and the calculator uses a flat 5 year period for everyone, which is stupid because now I need to use my previous passport, for which I need the translation of the bio page. The relevant period should adjust if you declare that you did not have any credits before becoming a PR.

Unable to use calculator, unable to pay fee and unable to print forms... wow this is complete mess....

So confused by this form. I did not work for 3 months between school and starting my job. How do I account for this period? Do I simply say I was unemployed? What should I put for the contact person/phone/email? Just N/A?

So...nowhere on this form do I get to write my full, complete name. It asks for the name that is shown on my most recent immigration document, which cuts off the last few letters of my middle name (because it's long). Hmmm.

Guys I am glad we confirm that the forms are not allowed for printing ...
Again guys, I'd recommend you not to rush into filling up the forms (maybe that is why CIC didn't allow printing lol)
Read the Guide and get familiar with the look and requirements of the form(s)!

I just completed the guide and validated that the documents required for applying are in my possession. DO this for yourself before starting to fill up the forms!

You fill "out" forms, you fill "up" a car gas tank, just saying, a little help with your ESL.

what does this means, does not say biological pages. Do we need to provide photocopies of all pages?
  • photocopies of all valid and expired passports or travel documents you had in the past 5 years. If you don’t have these documents or there are gaps in time between travel documents, we will ask for an explanation.

my concern is regarding the PCC docs. I had submitted all the PCCs during my PR application. I just completed 3 years in Canada. Do I still need to arrange the PCCs for the period outside Canada, prior to my first landing during my citizenship application
Specifically for Saudi, CIC waives the PCC if I am not a legal resident now. I am wondering if they would still need me to submit a PCC for Saudi.

New checklist says biographical pages only

Not completely sure, but my understanding is you will have to provide PCC

The eligibility period is simply bulls##t.. I dont know if I have to provide a police check from back home for the period before I come to Canada or not because I got the permanent residence when I first landed May 2014!!!!!!! OMG
