Hi All,
I have completed a 5 month journey of Canadian citizenship applications after I took oath of citizenship today. It was great honour being canadian citizen. All the applicants are requested to be patient and positive ! Best of luck! Happy holidays and Happy New Year 2018 !

My status changed to "Decision Made" this morning, which is pleasantly surprising since I had my citizenship test and interview only yesterday!! Someone with access to the tracking spreadsheet please kindly make the update.

The test was quite simple (20/20); just read the the study guide a few times and you should be fine. The interview was rather quick and simple (for me at least). The officer was really nice, checked my passport(s), verified my IDs and COPR, asked a couple of questions regarding my work & studies, told me to expect oath invitation within the next couple of months or so, and that was that.

Best of luck to everyone, and Happy Holidays!!

Hello all ,

My ecas showed a notice was mailed to me on December 7th to schedule exam for Jan 11th . But I have not received any mail . Is anyone in the same spot ? How long it takes for this cic mail to arrive . I was wondering how I will find out about the exam details if I don't receive the mail . Also this mail should be the confirmation or proof that I was notified for exam ? Any suggestion would be appreciated.

I noticed a similar message on my ecas as well. I was wondering why they did not send this by email. Anyway, I called the CIC call centre, and they were able to provide the location details for the test.

some applicants of C6 they applied on October ,, they got already their test invite ,, and they are even Montreal office applicant ,, pretty much classic IRCC ,, so frustrating , unfair and typical IRCC behavior

It is like IRCC is processing people apply with C6 first now, many people apply in Oct already got oath and citizenship while July applicants still not even invited for test

I got a notice to appear for test on jan 17.

I am not clear on what does this mean in notice.

Bring all your original documents that support your citizenship application( as listed in the document check list in the citizenship application form)

Can any one clear my doubt on whether do i need to carry IELTS score card original copy which i was not having as i submitted original during my PR process.

Thanks..

You do not require your IELTS score certificate at the test date or in the following interview. Once you have submitted it, thats all good. Best of luck for the test!
