Citizenship application in August 2017

Hi there.. please update my timeline.
Hamilton office.
Decision made on Dec 15th.

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on August 17, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on September 28, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on October 16, 2017.
4. We sent you a notice on November 22, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on December 13, 2017 at 8:55 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.

5. Decision made on Dec 15th. Still waiting for oath letter.

Just received my Atip and found out that my office is mississauga. Whole time i was cursing scarborough office lol.

I dont know how to read the report. But i dont see any red flags. I just dont get one thing, one place in says criminality passed and on the other page it says in progress.

I had decision made on November 30 from Scarborough

My eCas is updated with test invite information as below.
"We sent you a notice on December 19, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on January 17, 2018 at 8:30 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment..."

The surprising part is, it says they sent a notice on Dec 19th, but I haven't received any mail untill now and have received an email about test invite just yesterday.

Sent: Aug 23rd 2017
Received: Aug 28th 2017
AOR: Oct 06th 2017
In Progress: Oct 26th 2017
Test Invite: Dec 28th 2017

Regarding ecas update, I guess it's updated overnight.

You do not require your IELTS score certificate at the test date or in the following interview. Once you have submitted it, thats all good. Best of luck for the test!

Although the ecas says, "We sent you a notice on December 28, 2017 to appear and write the citizenship test on January 17, 2018 at 8:30 AM. I am so unsure whether to contact CIC if I don't receive the promised mail, or the email attachment is sufficient. If anyone has/had a similar situation, please share your experience.

I got the same thing back in November I just print it out and bring it with me to my test invite,lots of people receive theirs by email too.I guess that’s the new normal now,I even saw some people at the test just showing the email from their phone.well best of luck with your test.
