Post Feb 2008 are not included in the backlog in CIC post at the moment but you can see from the statistics that backlog applications just reduced from 400,005 to 334,881 (just 65124 applicants in 2010). While the Post Feb 2008 inventory increased by 44281 cases -- My mistake I called these cases backlog but anyway these pending decisions by CIC are increasing gradually NOT DECREASING. And additionally the
Other Permanent Resident Applications backlog increased from 416,547 to 495,081 (78534 applicants)
So total PR applications waiting decisions increased by 57691 (increases of 78534+ Increase of 44281 - decrease of 65124)

Dear salmanahm,

Yes, you are right on your side but according to CIC post February 28, 2008 applications can't be a backlog of FSW PR applications.

Dear Nector,

I saw all your posts and your answers. I also need a small help from you. I posted my passport and my Wife's passport for issuing PR visa to Los Angeles CIC office. But I haven't heard anything.

They just told me that they cannot issue any visa until 1 April 2011. But I haven't heard anything till now. Do you have any idea how long it would take. I appreciate your help.

Thank you

Dear Nectar,

I applied in Jan 2011, got PER in March 2011, now in April 2011 my status changed to Received by Visa office.

Just want to know, when will London Visa office start processing my application. Pls note that my NOC is 1233.

thanks

Adroit

Dear salmanahm,

The CIC aims to reduce 50% backlog of FSW PR applications by 2013 (Jan 2013).

There is uncertainity in the whole processing system.

Dear gurrapus,

After passport submission every CHC may take 4-6 weeks to issue PR visas.

Please await for at least 3-4 weeks and then contact your relevant CHC accordingly.

Dear Adroit,

The average processeing time for post June 26, 2010 FSW PR applications (such as 1233- Insurance Adjusters and Claims Examiners) may be published by October 2011.

But these applications may take more than a year to get finalised. Please remember active processing of FSW PR applications may take upto 1 year but on average it may fall between 8-10 months.

I hope this may assist you.

thnx for your reply Nectar,

but 2 applicants of London visa office (applied in october 2010 to Sydney, Nova Scotia), done their medicals in March 2010. now they are waiting for passport request.

Dear Nectar
I cant paste the tables here but here is my elaboration of Statistics
http://pastehtml.com/view/1dzsspu.html
Although they have managed to decrease the backlog by 16% in 2010 CIC has increased the pending applicants by 6% in 2010.

There is 34% increase in priority processing applicants so This clearly means that priority processing will be done first (Post Feb 2008 applicants) and Backlog clearing will be slower in 2011 less than 2010.

Hi Nectar,

Already asked you this question in another thread. Please reply even if you have no information about Seattle. Thanks a lot !

Hi Nectar,

May be in a wrong thread to ask you a question... does this protocol apply to London VO only or it is applicable at all other Visa Offices ? I 'm 2009 FSW applicant and my file is in process since end November 2010 at Seattle VO and they are not moving at all as we haven't seen any movement there since begin of this year. Any specific quota's for this year ?? Thanks a million for answering this question.

May God bless you

Dear Sama2007,

It's my pleasure.

Thanks. Do you know how long it might take to get the MR? i was told it would take longer than 1+ years.. is that true ?

Dear Nectar,
I applied under NOC 4121 from London in December 2009. I received my 2nd AOR on 26th July 2010. My status is still RBVO. Could you tell me what to expect and when things will move for me?
Thank you.

Dear Nectar,
Thank you very much for your useful information.
I'd like to ask you about my case: I'm in NOC 38 ( after Feb 2008)- Fast track, I applied in Nov 2009, and in process since Nov 2010 ( 5 months have been past), but I have not yet received medical request. Do you know if the CAP for Singapore VO for NOC 1111 has been filled and they have no quota for this NOC ? Or any reason ? Thanks

Dear shasa,

If you were asked to submit supporting documents to CHC London in the past then your turn may come soon.
