Dear Nectar,

I would to ask you another question!

First of all, I would like to throw some light on my case status. I am a June 2007 applicant and waiting for a medical test! In Aug 2009 I submitted my docs, but I didnt submit my PCC from Libya where I lived for a time of period( For some nationalities who used to live in libya if they decied to leave libya or to travel out they cant get a visa for a second time.It means you have to stay inside for ever or leave it for ever that was the rule ,because of this I couldnt get it easily). Then, I got a letter from the embassy of Libya here in the UAE which was written inside that I asked for PCC from libya since 2009 and didnt get it since 2010. I asked my VO to waive this PCC request but he refused. After one year, In Aug2010, a friend of mine who is living there helped me to get it. Directly in Sep 2010 I sent the PCC. After that, I got an update for additional docs which I sent in Oct. I sent an email in Nov,then I was under B/s checks.

My question is:

Now, there is a revolution in Libya since Feb 2011. Would this cause a delay in my application process? If my B/S checks were completed, when can I expect my MR?? If it were not completed?? What would be happened?? Do my B/S checks affect with what happened in Libya?Or not?

In advance, thanks Nectar for your help.

regards
Dear Rass,

The background checks may take 3-8 months timeframe.

The Libya unrest will delay your application. You can see that CIC has stopped processing applications temporarily in Libya.

Dear Nectar,

Its very nice to see you back in action. Please keep up the good work and dont worry what some people say, just ignore them.

I have got one question for you.I have seen at many forums that London office has send very few PPRs during the month of March (which is the ending month of Q1 )as compared to December 2010(which was also ending month of Q4 2011).Can you throw some light on this pattern. Moreover have you got any idea what pattern London will follow in the coming months to clear the backlog especially for 2007 applicants who have already done with their medicals.

thanks and best regards

Dear nectar,

I want to leave the UAE to South africa. Work and live there! What should I do? Do I have to inform the CHC London about this move? I will keep my resident visa in the UAE?

My brother has got a company in Cape Town. I want to work there and at the same time to bring some goods to the UAE! What should I do?

Could you please help me!
Dear Rass,

If you have submitted your supporting documents to CHC London, I will suggest you to contact CHC London and request them to amend your mailing address accordingly.

I am suggesting this because Medical Instructions are important documents and it may get lost at your previous address in UAE. Furthermore this may also be helpful to expedite your application in terms of additional documents if needed.

Dear Nectar
The Data available is till 4th quarter of 2010. 1st quarter 2011 data is yet to be published. There is no correlation between your info and CIC data release.
Please find below my comments.

Dear saedmahraan,
The current average of clearing backlog (pre February 208) applications is about 75000-80000 applications/year.

Pre 2008 applicants backlog
was 400,005 in 2009 and 334,881 in 2010 end. That means 65124 applicant backlog was cleared in 2010.
However Post Feb 2008 backlog
increased from 128,769 to 173,050 (44281 applicants were added to backlog). SO OVERALL FSW BACKLOG REDUCED BY 65124-44281 = 20843 applicants ONLY.

But this average will indeed increase in near future just because of smaller inventory of post june 26, 2010 PR applications.

There are no figures of Post 26 June inventory. However contradicting to your claim the backlog increased from 144,883 to 173,050 in just 4 months (Sep 2010 to Dec 2010) despite of new rules.

The current total until March 2011 of pre February 2008 backlog applications awaiting decisions may fall between 300,000 to 325,000 applications.
March 2011 data is yet to be published but lets see what happens.

Your comments are in green color.

Dear people,

Thanks for admiring my work.

As per my knowledge CHC London has been started sending out medical instructions to SAP FSW 2007 applicants since March 14, 2011.

The SAP FSW 2007 London applicants awaiting for PHEP can expect to be moved towards the final stage of their PR applications in May/June 2011 onwards provided that their visa files are ready for issuance of Canadian permanent residence visas.

The applicants who have already received medical instructions from CHC London are realy lucky ones in 2011 because dissolution of Canadian Parliament temporarily puts every CIC operation on hold.

The SAP FSW 2007 CHC London applicants who will receive medical instructions from June 2011 onwards may need to await until December 2011/Jan 2012 for their PR visas.

The CHC London SAP FSW October 2007-February 27, 2008 applications are still on hold until further instructions either from CIC Minister or Canadian Parliament.

Dear salmanahm

Applications processing include every decision taken by CIC within Canada plus all CHC operating at overseas.

The operational statistics will include positive decisions, refusals and application withdrawls etc.

I am not supposed to disseminate 100% correct information about exact totals of each and every CIC operational decision just because this is not my duty at all.

I am only trying to elaborate the statistics which you have provided as a proof of authenticity of the advice given to Mr. saedmahraan. There is no correlation in between.

Dear salmanahm

Please be advised to analyse CIC operational data more accurately and do not intermix fast track FSW PR aaplications data with backlog of FSW PR applications.

Dear Sir
The data table under discussion is under the heading
CIC Permanent Resident Applicants Awaiting a Decision
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/statistics/data-release/2010-Q4/index.asp
There is no other table which gives any idea about the Pre Feb 2008 and Post Feb 2008 applicants.
Also there is no separate data for Post June 2010 applicants. They have included these applicants in the Post Feb 2008 figure.
Regards
Salman

Dear salmanahm,

Yes, you are right on your side but according to CIC post February 28, 2008 applications can't be a backlog of FSW PR applications.
