Hi Guys,

Need your help. Me and my wife has already landed in Canada and received our PR card. However presenlty we are not staying in Canada and we prefer to give birth to our child in India because of the family support that i could get in India.

Could you explain how I could get PR for my child? Will my child have any complications (Child benefit etc.,) in the future if born in a place other than Canada?

You the sponsor would need to be living in Canada to be able to sponsor your child for PR. Where a child is born has no impact to child benefit as long as the eligibility requirements as stated on the benefit site are met.

Thanks a lot for the Quick Response. Do you know how long it will take to get the application processed and approved?

Hi friends
I have a question. I sponsored my husband two years back and by kaw tgroigh undertaking im responsible for his food shelter etc for 3 years. At tge time of his sponsorship, despite my disapproval he included his kids from previous marriage as non acconpanying dependants and their medical was carried out. Recently i have come to know that my husband is sponsoring them, my question is that can he apply for their sponsorship even if he is still under my undertaking?
Secondly his kids date of births are all written one year ahead just to include all 3 in sponsorhsip application.
Please reply.
Thanks

Your disapproval was wrong in the first place. His children would of NEEDED to be included on his application in order for him to be approved. He can sponsor his children to Canada now, if they are still of the sponsoring age (22 years or younger and still dependent). Your undertaking has nothing to do with his sponsorship in this new application and will not affect you.

If there is misrepresentation regarding the children and their ages then you should report that to CIC.

Yes - he can apply to sponsor them.

I don't understand what you are saying about their birth dates.

Do you mean he entered fake birthdays so that all 3 of his kids will be under 22? If so, he is committing immigration fault.
