Check R (Document Checklist) Question

Hi there.

This might sound a bit dumb and rhetorical but I want to be sure.

The document checklists mentions to check "R" for each applicable item but as I go through it I am only able to do a checkmark with the PDF thingy.

Is that the "R" or am I supposed to wait and print it out and put R in all the boxes that are applicable?

Thanks and apologies for sounding dumb just want to be sure.

Without knowing the document # you are looking at it's difficult to know exactly what you are referring to.

However, I suspect outdated software or a foreign language setting on your end is causing the pdf form to render the text incorrectly. On our application, there was a checkbox symbol in a similar sentence to which you are describing. Your computer is probably showing as an "R" since it can't show the symbol. To be safe, you should use another computer to complete the forms to make sure you aren't missing anything elsewhere on the form.

Hi there.

Imm5533e Document checklist. (Sorry thought it was clear enough in the original message)

I have the latest PDF viewer I had to install it earlier to open these documents.

Top of the document right under the title DOCUMENT CHECKLIST (SPOUSE INCLUDING DEPENDENT CHILDREN)

"As you work through the steps, check R for each applicable item."

So what you are saying is when the document says "R" it really is OK to use a checkmark in the boxes provided on the left since you can't type "R" and it's really just a possible formatting issue ?

Thanks ahead of time :)

Yes. The issue is with your computer. On the form is actually shows a checkbox logo, not an R. But I think you should fill the application on another computer in case there are other display issues you haven’t noticed.
