For anyone in a similar position to myself as per above, I received a response from London Visa Office and they confirmed that "The two week turnaround applies to whether you drop off in person, or authorise someone else." So you CAN get someone else to hand in your Permanent Resident last stage app for you

Will they send passports on postal address as shown on ECAS or postal address which we have written on updated information chart ?

The passports will be sent to address indicated on the updated information form as well as the self addressed envelope (assuming that they are the same).

For me it took 13 days. Passports Rcvd at LVO 15th July, DM 28th July.

This means you should be receiving the passports any time now. You need to keep in touch with Abudhabi consulate.

Several times I have communicate with Aramex- Abu Dhabi & Qatar... But no trace.

Passport received at CHC London 29th July
Current status - In process

Seems it takes approximately 20 days to change the status to DM and atleast one week to get passports back.

I am finding it difficult to remain calm during this waiting time.

I sent passports on 22 July, and I got an sms from the courier that it was received on the 23rd of July, then and I got decision made on 10, August. ie today....
usually how long does it take to receive the passports after decision made? also how will they send them? aramex, DHL? or normal mail, will they email me a tracking number?

Alhamdulillah... I get my passports back today. Visa issued on 25th July.
