Because Medical coverage from day 1, more funding for settlement process by cic, and more jobs oppurtunities, not very crowded yet

There are some programs that bridge the international education to customized with Canadian education. THey are funded programs and not present in all other provinces. Also you can apply for low cost housing until u get settled over there.... like this gov is funding many projects to make easy for the newcomers to settle.

Its very strange and frustrating for all of us who sent PPs to LVO and this is really unfortunate too !!!

Please send them immediately all the courier airway bill number and details infact go online for tracking details and cut and paste the whole details in your email to LVO at your earliest !

Please also share your experience after doing above to assist others.

I am in UAE and sent my PPs in Christmas holidays and delivered by FedEx on 26th Dec 2012 I am too worried about these holidays and the person who received the PPs was a security guy at security section due to holiday of Chriastmas, do you think I should also write and confirm to my VO in advance to avoid a delay and mess up ???

Don't be worried. I know other people who sent their passports at almost the same time as yours & they contacted them telling them that everything is going fine... What has happened in my case is not the usual.. Wait for 40 days then contact them if you still hadn't heard from them..

& kindly pray for me..
