^ they'll ask you why you didnt do ruksati while you were there.

Because our whole family is in Canada and thats where we want to have the full wedding!! lol
But we might have a party here celebrating our Nikah, so I'll send them pictures of that.

No updated info Ali. Let the CHC-ISB take their sweet time. I am not in rush.

The earliest 2010 apps probably won't hear anything until early 2011 judging by the other thread and processing times.

Maybe late 2010?

Well lets hope we hear something. Looks like they are still processing 2009. I have not heard any news regarding anyone with 2010 AOR. Does anyone know otherwise?

Looks like to me they are processing applications with AOR from July-Sep 2009 at CHC-ISB unless If someone with JAN 2010 AOR can confirm me that he/she heard anything from them. CHC-ISB take sweet time.

Cheers.

I am sponsoring my husband and sent my app on 24th June. I received a letter with Client ID on it on July 30th. My wait starts now..

Though i tried to check status of app online at ECAS and my client ID doesn't return anything. Am I supposed to put in my Husbands last name and birthplace info or my own? I am confused. Could it be that they still have not made my account valid?

If you use client id, you put your info, not your husbands. you should be able to see your sponsorship application status.

Processing Times at ISLAMABAD Visa Offices in Asia.
(months) 30% of cases finalized in: 8
(months) 50% of cases finalized in: 9
(months) 70% of cases finalized in: 13
(months) 80% of cases finalized in: 14

They have updated quarterly infomration and according to this 30% case are done in 8 months now befor it was 7.

Sound good to me showing something else on site for public & actually taking more than enough long time at processing center.

Cheers.

You are very right I am also surprised .... :o

I read on number of occasions that CIC Islamabad has raised there average processing time to 11 or 12 months but its gooood to see thats its still 9 months

Hello friends...My file was transferred to isb in july 2009 and my ECAS shows that they started processing it in oct 2009.I received no request for any additional documents and kept my correspondence to a minimum (ie 1 e mail a month) I received a letter 20 july 2010 for re medical and passport request. Now having said that my sister applied for her husband 3 months before i did and submitted exactly what i did but isb is still asking for additional papers.
Bottom line is that it all depends on the visa officer how long the process will be and if he is convinced or not .from what i see there are no set rules and each case is dealt differently even if all documents are submitted.
My wife has done her re med and submitted her passport 30 july 2010. I have my fingures crossed lets see how long it takes .and i prey that God gives us all the patience because thats all we can realy do. Ameen!!

one email per month? how is that minimum? lol
anways congratulations! :)

Thank you and yes i know it sounds alot but since the reply to my first e mail to them came that my file is in queue for review i had to write atleast once a month to find out if they have actually started working on it or not. In my books that was the minimum i could stay afloat with.I prey for all here...........Ameen!!!
