Thank you and yes i know it sounds alot but since the reply to my first e mail to them came that my file is in queue for review i had to write atleast once a month to find out if they have actually started working on it or not. In my books that was the minimum i could stay afloat with.I prey for all here...........Ameen!!!

i guess i did.A few friends i know have been writing 2 to 3 e mails a month and never got a reply so i figured one should be good and i got a reply each time .My mails were always focused on the timeline and they always sent a one line reply that it is in process.
So ya you are rite luck was on my side.I prey that all of you get your cases finalized sooner than later.AMEEN!!

First of all my thoughts and prayers are for everyone who has been hurt and devastated due to the flooding in Pakistan. Thanks to Almighty Allah my wife and her family are safe! It is not easy sitting here in Canada knowing the tensions our loved ones are facing on a daily basis in Pakistan.

Any thoughts to how this flooding disaster will impact the immigration process in pakistan or if Canadian High Commission will work harder to process files by bringing more resources to assist them?

Still trying to cope with Canadian High Commissions inability to provide resources to countries whose processing times reach 12-14 months while countries continue to see applications complete after only a few months. Canadian High Commission needs to work harder to identify countries lacking the support for processing the high volumes of applications quicker imo.

CanPak agreed with your opinion, in order to increase the resources all they need to do increase the budget for CHC-ICB cost centre.

there were 3 days of horror for karachiites too when more then 100 innocent people died and loss of millions rs in 3 days also where several are injured

Hi Mariah, please dont worry, I have a friend in PAK whose sister was working for CHC-ISB. Mack in May I contacted my firend to find out If she can give any feedback on my spousal file and this is what I heard from him that all the PAKISTNIES administration staff is on 6 month vaction untill further notice.Also they have they have reduced the no of VISA officers due to security concern which we all know.

I hope after 6 month the CHC-ISB will start resume the operation with full staff & available resources so the backlog can be cleared off.

people have been getting their PPR for last couple of months on this other forum. I do not think they are on 6 month vacation.

Why don't you put a case specific inquiry to CIC.....
Have you contacted your MP or Ordered CAIPS notes?

this file is currently in que to be reviewd. routine background checks are undergone for this file..

this was one month baq...wat does this mean??

OK if background check are done that means you are very close to PPR now.....
