does anyone have any idea after receiving the letter from chc what is the next step and how long would it take.

It means that your file is waiting in the initial qeue to be reviewed. It takes about 8 months or more for the file in the initial qeue to be reviewed. According to your timeline, its been 6 months since the file was transferred to Islamabad so you have 2-3 more months to wait till your file would be reviewed.


The conservative government has slowed down processing for Pakistan on purpose. If you want to see your file move faster, don't vote for the conservatives.

The spouse sponsorship was taking 4-6 months right when the government changed. Now the whole process can take up to 21 months or even more in some cases, so its an easy decision

can anyone let me know about if they still send AOR or not and if they do will there be a suppliment form to be filled out as I read someone wrote that there is a suppliment form with AOR.

I guess they don't like too many people comming from our country. But from india it only takes couple of months or 4 months as I have seen couple of cases like that. May God help us. Ameen

They stopped sending AOR's starting from October 2010. So all the files that were transferred in and after Oct 2010 didn't get an AOR. I believe most of the people emailed them to get their file number. Suppliment forms were being sent with them before, but since the files are still in initial qeue its hard to say when and if they would send a suppliment with a PCC request.
