ur wifes case is kinda same as my husbands case... but little difference in timeline as u can see in my signature.. but my husbands re-med was also done 3rd march 2011 so just waiting for the next response.. hopefully PPR.. cuz there is nothing else left for them to do .. so we r probably gonna receive something around the same time.. wish u good luck.

Yep a few Jan/Feb and one of the applicant was an early March 2010 AOR I have seen here have received VISA already...

Liberals promise to make it easier for new Canadians to bring parents into the country



VANCOUVER — Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff said Tuesday his party would make it easier for newcomers to bring their parents to Canada.


Ignatieff accused the Conservatives of cutting back on family reunification visas.


"If the Harper government gets back in, they are going to keep squeezing family reunification in Canada and we think that is a serious mistake," Ignatieff said.


The Liberal leader said his party would return to the "balance" in visa distribution the federal government had in 2006.

How can ISB CHC not complete APRIL AOR's and go on to MAY & JUNE ... WES BHAI it doesnt make sense.

Yeah, they vary big time...its so hard to expect anything...very unpredictable and different for everyone..

It actually depends on your case and the Immigration Officer thats working on ur case.

Well that's what I meant, they all work differently and every cases is handled so differently that it's hard to predict the next step.

So you're calculating AOR from the date thats written on the letter you received right?
What date does ECAS mention on processing your file? My ecas is oct2010, and i received AOR on oct too but the AOR that i got was dated Aug2010. Is that my AOR date or the date when it reached isb?
