Seems like you may have received the AOR and approval for step1 in the same email. I received it in 2 parts, in first email they confirmed the receipt of application with the file number and within 3 days, they sent the approval letter for 1st step (sponsor eligibility)

Thank you . Do you have any idea in how many months processing of file will start ? While checking my online status it's just shown :
1) Application received ..
2) Medical received .

This shows processing not yet started, am I correct ? Do anyone of you who filed their cases in 2013 received processing started notification ?

Some 2013 applicants who had their files transferred directly to LVO after step 1 have received notifications for further processing but those were cases filed in later part of 2013.

I applied in April 2013, file transferred to ISB in Aug 2013 and to LVO in Feb 2014. Hoping to receive remed/other documents request by August

Is it ok to enquire islamabad embassy to know the status ? As 15 months are about to over and not a single update by them .. Either my file is in islamabad office or not ...

Hello Guys.
I recently mailed out my application in mississauga on May 23, 2014 and was wondering when will I receive the conformation email. It has been over a month and from what i am reading, most people are getting their confirmation emails within a month.
If someone can please give any advice or guide me on what to do. Thanks.
