Guys I have a question ..I'm very worried now actually they asked for urdu nikah Nama which we don't have we have only English so we wrote a letter and attested from the union council n Qaazi that we had our nikah in English and my hubby will going to present that letter and other nikah Nama copies in INTERVIEW.. So is this step OK?? Pl let me know specially if anyone with the interview done and same situation.

Whoever performed your nikah, cant they issue u another one in urdu? Or is it not possible?

interview scheduled Jan 27, 2015
we start processing your application on Jan 27 2015
now the status appeared on ecas: IN PROCESS
at the end of my interview the interviewer congratulated
me told me,your application is approved and said police
verification may be requested in few days and within 20
days passport will be requested...
still waitng for passport request.....
can you tell me how much time can be expected...
and what will be the next step?

almost similar to my timeline...mine turned into in process on 30 January and decision made 11 march...

this is not a big issue...just send them your english nikah nama and tell them that you guys did nikah in english to avoid translation issues...
i was asked for the same...i had sent them the english nikah nama with a letter explaining everything.
