not necessary but if you both easily available and attend the interview then this will inspire the visa officer . Good luck. Naveed

Salaam everyone,

I have a simple question.

When the status changes to 'decision made', do you receive an email about that or do you constantly have to keep checking your E-CAS to see if the status changed to it?

After re-med is done and your case is finalized , your e-cas is changed to DM (90% of the times as some rare times ur e-cas doesnt change to DM and you get a ppr) and you do not get an e-mail for that, but usually it takes 10 to 30 days (rare cases 45 days) after re-med to get your e-cas from In-process to DM, but you do get an e-mail for the passport request.

Hope this answer your question :)

Regards,
Zam

Its been 3 months since PPR-1 and yet no sign for PPR-2. What the hell CIC doing to 2012 cases. :'( :-[ ???

what is the normal trend when case is in process and will new increase time line will effect existing in process case. As per current trend their is 4 to 5 month between in process to decision made. Any one know exact process when they need to call second medical and what background check contain and how long it will and how you know that their is no need of interview if we do not order notes.

All those members who got passport back how and when did they get the original documents back. My case was processed through London and I haven't received my documents back. Though I got my passport back with visa few days back.

nobody has answer my question. i only got a letter and an update at my ecase for interview. how shld i reply to them to let them know that i m ready to attend. since its written "failing to do so will result in delays in processing your scheduled interview"

the first thing you MUST do immediately is to notify cic about your new born baby otherwise you might face some complications.
About your interview: best rule is not to volunteer any information.. during the interview do not hide anything and only answer questions which are asked. (although it wont harm mentioning about your husband's future visit that he is coming. future plans are just talks :) and your husband has the right to visit you..so relax) one answer usually raise and trigger another series of supplement questions. so stick to what is asked and don't worry interview is just part of the sponsorship game.
About informing CIC about your interview date and new born baby:
- if your file is being processed in LVO you can send them the confirmation of your interview and info about your new born baby at this link
https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/case-cas-eng.aspx?mission=london&_ga=1.58113002.171493919.1424504002

important: dont forget to declare your baby and inform cic as soon as possible.

hope it helps

I have only been in contact with my mp through phone. I never met them. never went to their office. Never had to sign any forms. Try calling or emailing and explain that you are in pakistan and you need some assistance. In shaa Allah they will help you! I was in touch with my mp when i was in pakistan. All through emailing... It depends on who the mp is!

You were lucky that you got a good MP, mostly are not as their PA receives phone/emails. And few are so bad that they dont want to botther to contact VO if the processing time is not exceeded. I wish s/he also gets as good MP as yours.

Recieved PPR2 on 17 feb and im given 30 days to submit it
As im out of country and will be back on 7th ..isit still safe to submit it ?
Because everyone submit their pp the very next day

Hmmm they wont do your remed without letter from VO :O
You may call ISB call center and tell them the scenario, they might help you. Any senior member may guide you better in this situation with their exp.
Wish you all the best
